The role of HBCC is to advocate and lobby on behalf of M/W/DBE's and to establish programs and networking opportunities for them to expand their resources.

Kansas City Black Business (KCBB) is Kansas City's Premier Online Black Business Directory. Our basic principles are to CONNECT consumers to African American businesses, UNITE business owners in a centralized location, and EMPOWER the community through awareness of supporting our culture.

The Porter HouseKC is an inner city based co-working community who provides entrepreneurship access and resources to underserved populations in the KC metro.
Black Privilege
Our mission is to connect and educate the black community through economic gardening and sustainable technological platforms. Collectively blacks are powerful with 1.3 trillion in buying power, yet only spend 2% back into black-owned businesses. This is not an "only" buy black initiative, but the goal is to help all people to change the way they think and to circulate some of their money with their favorite black-owned businesses.
