KC Sports Journalists get real with students who want to get into the industry

Are you interested in becoming a sports anchor, reporter, or writer? The numbers show the industry is made up of mostly white men. Kansas City Association of Black Journalists wants to be a part of guiding the next generation of sports broadcasters and writers to help diversify the industry. We put together a panel of KCABJ's sports journalists to share their stories and give you advice for getting in the game. This event is open to all students and adults for $5. The event will be hosted on Zoom. All proceeds will go to the Kansas City Association of Black Journalists scholarship fund. For scholarship opportunities please email kcabj1981@gmail.com.
